TailorCV helps iOS users create tailored resumes from profile information, uploaded career materials, and target job descriptions. This policy explains what data we process and how we use it.
Information We Collect Or Process
- Account identifiers, including app account ID, device ID, and Apple user identifier when you sign in with Apple.
- Profile and resume information you provide, such as name, email address, phone number, other contact details, city, work authorization, education, work history, projects, skills, resume materials, target job descriptions, generated resume content, and editing history.
- Purchase information, including App Store product IDs, Apple transaction IDs, credit ledger state, and purchase validation status.
- Photos, screenshots, PDFs, Word files, or other materials you choose to import. Image OCR currently runs on device before recognized text is used by the app.
How We Use Information
- To provide app functionality, including profile management, material extraction, job description analysis, resume generation, PDF export, account credit sync, App Store purchase fulfillment, and support.
- To prevent abuse, recover failed purchase or generation operations, and keep account credit records accurate.
- To communicate with you when you contact support.
We do not use your information for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
AI Processing
When you request AI material extraction, job description analysis, resume generation, or delivery guidance, relevant text content is sent from the iOS app to TailorCV backend services at smartresumematch.com and may then be shared with Google LLC's AI model services to perform the requested AI processing. This content may include uploaded resume material text, profile and contact information you provide, work and education history, project and skill content, target job descriptions, generated resume content, and related editing context. We do not use this content for advertising or tracking.
Storage And Retention
Profile content, experience cards, generated history, and imported materials may be stored locally on your device. Backend account credit records are retained as needed for purchase fulfillment, fraud prevention, recovery, refunds, compliance, and support. Asynchronous AI job requests and results may be stored temporarily on our backend for retry, polling, and delivery; the current backend cleanup policy deletes completed, failed, or cancelled job records older than 24 hours. SQLite operational backups for AI job and account credit databases are created daily and retained for up to 14 days unless a shorter production setting is configured. We do not store Apple payment card details.
Sharing
We use service providers only to operate the iOS app, including Apple StoreKit for in-app purchases, TailorCV backend services at smartresumematch.com, and Google LLC's AI model services for AI generation, extraction, analysis, and delivery guidance. We do not sell your personal data and do not use it for third-party advertising or tracking.
Your Choices And Deletion Rights
You may edit or delete local profile and resume content in the app where supported. You may also use the in-app Privacy & Settings screen to view AI data processing details, open this policy and the terms, or request account deletion. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize remote account identifiers such as Apple user identifier and device identifier, block future use of that account record, and clear local app data on your device. We may retain minimal transaction, purchase validation, credit ledger, refund, anti-abuse, compliance, and backup records where necessary for App Store purchase fulfillment, fraud prevention, legal obligations, security, or support.

存储与保留
